Process

The plot is shared between stills and motion from the first recce. Colour sits in pre-production, not after picture lock. Finishing is not a stranger at the end of the job, and the archive is named so another team can open it a year later.

We write a still we can also cover. If the hero needs a modifier that will not travel into motion, we split the day on paper rather than fake it at wrap.

Hold

Hold

Tethered review on the square we recce. Selects happen while the key still exists. Nobody waits for a card dump at midnight to discover the frame.

Move
3

Move

Coverage from the same key. The DP and the stills lead share a plot, not two PDFs taped to the same wall.

Grade

Grade

Warm without a sunset LUT. Sandstone and skin share a white. The show LUT is decided in pre-production and used on stills and film.

File

File

Masters named for print, Rec.709, 1:1 and 9:16. An archive a producer can traffic without renaming every clip.
